1-1/2" x 10' Mechanical Splice Grommet Wire Rope Sling
1-1/2" x 10' Mechanical Splice Grommet Wire Rope Sling!
1-1/2" x 10' Mechanical Splice Grommet Wire Rope Sling
Specifications
The largest in our grommet lineup, this 1-1/2-inch sling is a single continuous loop of wire rope rather than a sling with two formed eyes, closed with a mechanical or swaged splice. The Mechanical Splice Grommet Wire Rope Sling shape suits big rigging jobs where hitch flexibility matters as much as capacity.
Key Features
- 1-1/2-inch diameter, built as one continuous loop
- Mechanical or swaged splice closes the loop
- Hitch point can move anywhere along the loop rather than being fixed to two eyes
- Length is measured end-to-end at the bearing points, not around the full loop
Applications
- The largest jobs in our grommet sling lineup
- Choke and basket hitches that benefit from a flexible connection point
- Use alongside braided wire rope or chain slings already in service
- Talk to our team about whether this is the right sling style for your job
