1/2" x 16' Mechanical Splice Grommet Wire Rope Sling!
1/2" x 16' Mechanical Splice Grommet Wire Rope Sling
Sometimes a standard eye-and-eye wire rope sling isn't the right fit, and that's where this 1/2-inch, 16-foot Mechanical Splice Grommet Wire Rope Sling comes in. Rather than two formed eyes, it forms one continuous loop from a single length of wire rope, spliced together with mechanical or swaged sleeves. That continuous-loop design gives crews more rigging flexibility on jobs where space or hitch configuration is tight.
Key Features
- Single continuous loop made from one length of 1/2-inch wire rope, 16 feet long
- Mechanically or swage-spliced ends for a secure, continuous connection
- More adaptable hitch options than a fixed eye-and-eye sling
- Length measured end-to-end at the bearing points rather than around the loop's full circumference
Applications
- Jobs where the rigging space or hitch setup rules out a standard eye-to-eye sling
- Lifts that need a flexible connection point rather than a fixed eye
- A companion option alongside braided wire rope or chain slings already on the truck
