This kit pairs Pewag's largest 1/2" case-hardened security chain with a high-quality Viro security lock, giving you a complete, ready-to-use setup for protecting large valuable items and facilities. The square chain design resists bolt cutters, and the compatible lock is built to match.
Key Features
- 1/2" Pewag square chain, case-hardened to 62 HRC 6% deep, the largest and heaviest-duty size Pewag produces.
- Square link profile prevents bolt cutters from getting the grip they need to start cutting.
- Commercial-grade Viro Monolith lock: its shape prevents tools from getting a grip to cut or open it, and a rotating anti-drill plate plus pick-resistant counterpins add further protection.
- Ships with two keys sealed in an envelope alongside an ownership card; the card's key code is needed for any future duplicate or replacement key request.
- A wear sleeve is available separately to protect the finish on items the chain wraps around.
- No locking or security device guarantees against theft; Pewag chain and locks are engineered to significantly increase the time, effort, and tools required to defeat them, acting as a strong deterrent rather than an absolute guarantee.
