1/4" x 14' Mechanical Splice Grommet Wire Rope Sling
1/4" x 14' Mechanical Splice Grommet Wire Rope Sling!
1/4" x 14' Mechanical Splice Grommet Wire Rope Sling
Specifications
No fixed eyes here: this 1/4-inch Mechanical Splice Grommet Wire Rope Sling is one continuous loop of wire rope, spliced closed with a mechanical or swaged sleeve. That open-loop shape means it can be positioned and choked at virtually any point along its length, not just at two set ends.
Key Features
- One-piece, continuous loop in a 1/4-inch diameter
- Closed with a mechanical or swaged splice rather than a formed eye
- Can be rigged or choked at any point around the loop, not just fixed ends
- Length is taken end-to-end across the bearing points, not around the full loop
Applications
- Tight rigging spots where there's no room for a standard eye-and-eye sling
- Choker-style hitches that need a connection point anywhere along the sling
- A flexible add-on alongside braided wire rope or chain slings
- Our sales team can help confirm if a grommet sling fits your setup
