1" x 6' Mechanical Splice Grommet Wire Rope Sling
Specifications
This 1-inch grommet sling skips the formed eyes altogether, splicing one length of wire rope into a closed loop with mechanical or swaged sleeves. The Mechanical Splice Grommet Wire Rope Sling design works where a standard eye-and-eye sling is either too long, too short, or simply the wrong shape for the rig.
Key Features
- Single-piece, closed-loop construction in a 1-inch diameter
- Mechanical or swaged splice instead of a formed eye at either end
- No fixed end points, so hitch placement is more flexible
- Measured end-to-end at the bearing points, not around the loop's full circumference
Applications
- Rigging where the fit, not the capacity, rules out a standard eye-to-eye sling
- Lifts needing a connection point that isn't locked to two fixed eyes
- A fit for crews already stocking braided wire rope or chain slings
- Contact our team if you're weighing this against a standard eye-and-eye option
