At the narrow end of this UHMPE roundsling line, a 2 inch high performance roundsling still gets wire-rope-level capacity into a package light enough to handle by hand. This highest option in the line carries a 20,000 lb. vertical capacity, and like the rest of this high performance roundsling family, this high performance round sling doubles as a straightforward wire rope sling alternative, staying lighter and easier to maneuver than an equivalent wire rope or polyester sling.
Key Features
- UHMPE core yarn in an endless construction, wrapped in a double-layer polyester cover for protection from abrasion, dirt, and grime
- Stretches 75% less than an equivalent polyester roundsling, making it easier to control in tight headroom
- Repairable outer jacket, as long as the core yarn itself isn't damaged
- Proof-tested to 200% of rated capacity, with a 5:1 design factor
- Tag information sewn into the sling covers manufacturer name, stock number, materials, and rated load for at least one hitch and angle
- Rated for use between 140°F/60°C and -40°F/-40°C
- Meets ASME B30.9 standards and is made in the USA

- Jobs that would otherwise call for heavy wire rope, but want the weight and handling savings of a synthetic sling
