Specifications
At the narrow end of this UHMPE roundsling line, a 2 inch high performance roundsling still gets wire-rope-level capacity into a package light enough to handle by hand. This mid-range option in the line carries a 15,000 lb. vertical capacity, and like the rest of this high performance roundsling family, this high performance round sling doubles as a straightforward wire rope sling alternative, staying lighter and easier to maneuver than an equivalent wire rope or polyester sling.
Key Features
- Built as an endless UHMPE core with a double-layer polyester cover shielding it from abrasion, dirt, and grime
- Elongation runs 75% below a comparable polyester roundsling's, which helps with control in low-headroom spots
- Repairable outer jacket, as long as the core yarn itself isn't damaged
- Proof-tested to 200% of rated capacity, with a 5:1 design factor
- A sewn-in tag records the manufacturer's name, stock number, core and cover material, and the rated load for at least one hitch and angle
- Rated for use between 140°F/60°C and -40°F/-40°C
- Meets ASME B30.9 standards and is made in the USA
