Description

Built around a pull-to-tighten cam buckle instead of a ratchet, this strap is a good match for cargo where over-tensioning is a real risk. The buckle holds through friction, and there's no mechanical leverage to overdo it. It carries a rated capacity of 6,000 lb.

Key Features

  • Heavyweight polyester webbing woven with more picks per inch than typical straps on the market, for a webbing that resists abrasion, tearing, and cutting
  • Fittings built to anchor into F-track for flexible placement along enclosed trailer rails
  • Pull-to-tighten cam buckle that won't over-tension fragile cargo the way a ratchet can
  • Corrosion-resistant zinc-plated hardware built for outdoor and roadside use
  • Tagged and stenciled with break strength and working load limit information to support compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations, CVSA and WSTDA guidelines, and North American cargo securement standards

Applications

  • Enclosed trailer and cargo van securement
  • F-track and E-track equipped trailers
  • Lighter-duty freight that shouldn't be over-tensioned

Installation

Thread the webbing through the cam buckle and pull the free end by hand to remove slack, then continue pulling until the load feels snug. Because cam buckles tighten by hand tension rather than mechanical leverage, avoid over-pulling on fragile cargo. Check that the buckle has engaged fully and re-inspect tension periodically during transport.
