3/8" x 8' Mechanical Splice Grommet Wire Rope Sling
Specifications
This 3/8-inch Mechanical Splice Grommet Wire Rope Sling is built as a continuous loop, not a traditional eye-and-eye design, for extra flexibility in tight rigging situations. A single length of wire rope forms the loop, with mechanical or swaged sleeves joining the ends.
Key Features
- 3/8-inch diameter, continuous-loop (grommet) construction
- Ends joined with mechanical or swaged sleeves
- Length measured end-to-end at the bearing points rather than around the full loop
- More flexible hitch options than a fixed eye-and-eye sling
Applications
- Rigging jobs where a traditional eye-to-eye sling won't reach or fit the setup
- Lifts that benefit from a flexible, continuous-loop connection point
- Projects already using braided wire rope slings or chain slings that need a grommet-style option
