The Crosby® McKissick 4-1/2" Sheave Snatch Block with Hook is designed for secure load redirection and lifting applications. Built for 3/8" to 1/2" wire rope, this Type 418 snatch block features a forged alloy, heat-treated hook and a 4-ton working load limit. It’s engineered to meet or exceed ASME B30.26 requirements and carries a 4:1 safety factor for peace of mind on the jobsite.
The bronze bushings ensure smooth sheave operation under tension, while the drop-side design allows for fast rope setup. Hook assemblies on this model are interchangeable with 418 blocks ranging from 4-1/2" to 14", allowing for streamlined maintenance and flexibility across your fleet.
