Crosby® McKissick 8" Snatch Block with Hook - 5/8" to 3/4" Wire Rope
The Crosby® McKissick 8" Sheave Snatch Block with Hook is a heavy-duty solution for lifting, winching, and directional rigging. Designed for use with 5/8" to 3/4" wire rope, this Type 418 snatch block delivers an 8-ton working load limit and includes a forged alloy, heat-treated hook for secure, high-strength connections. Built for long-term use, it meets or exceeds ASME B30.26 requirements.
The block is equipped with bronze bushings for smooth sheave rotation and reduced wear over time. Its drop-side plate design allows for quick rope changes in the field. Hook assemblies are interchangeable across 418 series models from 4-1/2" to 14" sheaves, making this block easy to service and scale. For additional safety, pair it with the Crosby® Latch Kit #1096562.
