The Crosby® McKissick 12" Sheave Snatch Block with Hook is engineered for high-load rigging applications where strength and reliability are non-negotiable. This Type 418 block is built for 3/4" wire rope and features a forged alloy, heat-treated hook for secure, repeatable lifting. It supports an 8-ton working load limit and meets or exceeds ASME B30.26 standards.
The block's bronze bushings ensure smooth sheave rotation under tension, and the drop-side design allows for quick line installation or changes in the field. Hook assemblies for this model are interchangeable with other Crosby® 418 blocks ranging from 4-1/2" to 14" sheave sizes. Pair it with the Crosby® Latch Kit #1096562 for added safety during lifts.
