these heavy duty hangers work great on old houses with full 2x joists when you need to sister the joists, be they cracked, dry rot, and occasionally when the notched timber headers have shifted outward
These hangers are exactly what I needed to support floor joists in my basement. Used the correct simpson screws for this also. They are strong and durable
You won't find these at the big box store. These are perfect for hanging an LVL beam. They fit an LVL perfectly and have plenty of holes for support screws.
