Simpson Strong-Tie L angles are designed for multiple uses. The Strong-Tie L70 has been tested and designed to ensure that the load values account for connection eccentricities. The staggered nail pattern reduces splitting.

• Use all specified fasteners.
• Use hot-dip galvanized (HDG) nails with all galvanized connector products.
• Nail the L angle's wider leg into the joist to ensure table loads and allow correct nailing.
