Simpson Strong-Tie PF/PFB/PFDB hangers have a patented double-shear nailing system. The PF series hangers can accommodate collated nails as well as 10d common purlin nails. The Strong-Tie PF24B post frame hanger features a G90 galvanized finish for added corrosion resistance and requires the use of hot-dip galvanized fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153.


Installation:
  • Use all specified fasteners.
  • 10d common purlin nails must be driven at an angle through the purlin into the header.
  • Combine with top nails to achieve table loads

NOTE: The correct fasteners installed in the correct position must be used to achieve published load values
