The mechanically clinched bracket assembly improves stiffness, while large corner embossments and supplied Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws help deliver efficient installation and tested uplift and lateral performance without through-bolting the column.

Installation
Place the PFCB on the concrete foundation in the position shown on the approved plans. Use the optional set-screw holes only to temporarily hold the bracket during layout and drilling. Do not use the pilot holes for permanent concrete anchorage. Detach the built-in washers and position them beneath the heads of the specified concrete anchors. After anchoring the base, place the column in the bracket and install all supplied Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws. Follow the applicable Simpson Strong-Tie load tables for anchor diameter, embedment, edge distance, concrete strength and foundation configuration. The finish should be selected according to the installation environment, treated-wood compatibility and project appearance requirements.
