It's a Grade 30, light to medium duty chain, and because it's Type 316 (marine grade) stainless with molybdenum in the mix, it holds up well against ocean mist, spray, and other high-chloride conditions that wear through standard stainless faster. It's sold by the foot and cut to the length you order.
