Aircraft style L-track is the heavier-duty option in the L-track family. It is extruded from 6351 aluminum, which offers more rigidity and tensile strength than standard 6061-T6, and its squared edges add stiffness for demanding cargo jobs. If you are hauling heavy equipment or want a more robust rail, this is the style to look at.

Rails to Consider

Two 6' options are available, the 6' heavy-duty airline-style L-track in 6351-T6 aluminum and the 6' heavy-duty airline-style L-track in 6351 aluminum. The rails are unpainted, so they are ready to be left natural or finished with paint or clear coat.

Where It Fits

The name comes from aircraft, where this style of track holds seats in place. In cargo use, the same rigid profile makes it a good choice for motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and other heavier loads in pickups, vans, and trailers. A Note on Strength

An installed rail is only as strong as its fasteners and the structure behind it, so we do not publish a single working load limit. Follow your vehicle manufacturer's guidance and review WSTDA T-5 section 3.4 for mounting best practices.

Add Fittings and Accessories
