A nylon bridle sling combines real strength with a build that's easy to handle on the job, which is why it's become a go-to choice across a wide range of rigging applications. Like every nylon sling we carry, these are made in the USA to a quality standard we stand behind.
Configurations and Sizing
Bridle slings come in four configurations: single, double, triple, and quad leg, so you can match leg count to how many pick points your load actually needs. Standard widths run 1" and 2", available in 1-ply or 2-ply, which covers everything from light-duty applications up through heavy-duty work. If your job calls for something outside those standard specs, whether that's a different length, ply, or hook, our sales team can build a custom bridle sling assembly to your exact requirements.
Fitting Options
Three basic end-fitting combinations cover most rigging setups: oblong with hook, oblong with oblong, and oblong with sewn eye. At the top of every leg sits a large master link, sized so sling hooks connect quickly without crowding each other, even on a triple or quad leg configuration where several legs meet at one point.
Why Nylon Over Wire Rope or Chain
A nylon bridle sling weighs less than a similarly sized wire rope or chain sling, which cuts down the total weight you're lifting and makes the sling itself easier to carry and position. The webbing is also more flexible than chain or wire rope, and its flat sewn loops help distribute the load more evenly across the sling. Stretch plays a role here too: each leg stretches about 3% at rated capacity, which helps the sling absorb shock during a lift rather than transferring it straight through to the load. One more practical advantage: unlike wire rope or chain, a nylon web bridle won't conduct electricity.
Built to Last
Hardware comes from Pewag for consistent quality: oblongs are Grade 100 alloy steel, hooks are Grade 80 alloy steel. On multi-leg slings, having several legs also means you can rotate the bearing points between lifts, spreading out wear and extending the sling's working life. And because 2-, 3-, and 4-leg styles all work across different hitch types, you get real versatility out of a single sling rather than needing a separate one for every job.
Sling Proof Testing Certificates
Certified proof testing can be added to your order for a small fee, but it has to be requested at the time you place your order. Certified slings are pull tested at the factory to twice their rated vertical capacity, with the results officially recorded as proof for governing bodies. Outside of that request, standard manufacturing only tests random slings from a given production run, since providing a certificate means that specific sling has to be individually pull tested at the time it's made.
