The Simpson Strong-Tie PPHDQ134S1214 Strong-Drive PPHD Sheathing-to-CFS Screw is purpose-built for attaching wood structural panels, gypsum board, and fiber cement sheathing to cold-formed steel (CFS) framing. Engineered for speed and holding power, this screw features a drill point that penetrates steel up to 0.097" thick without predrilling. It’s an ideal fastening solution for repetitive sheathing tasks in mid-rise construction, commercial framing, and prefabrication environments.
The PPHD screw is collated for use in the Simpson Quik Drive auto-feed system or can be purchased in bulk for single-screw applications. Whether you're fastening OSB, plywood, or gypsum to steel, these screws deliver consistent drive performance, reduced cam-out, and higher holding strength with fewer fasteners.
