This 5/16" 1x7 guy wire is manufactured from Extra High Strength (EHS) galvanized steel and is designed for tensioning, bracing, and structural stabilization applications. With exceptional tensile strength and minimal stretch, it is commonly used to support communication towers, antennas, utility poles, guyed masts, and other free-standing structures where dependable load-bearing performance is critical.

The 1x7 construction is the stiffest guy strand configuration available, providing excellent resistance to elongation under load while maintaining maximum tensile strength. 1x7 Guy Strand Configuration
Our guy wire is manufactured using EHS-grade steel. EHS (Extra High Strength) steel provides approximately 40% greater tensile strength than standard HS-grade steel, resulting in improved break strength and long-term structural reliability.
The class of this cable is 1x7. The second number represents the number of wires within the single strand construction. In this configuration, seven wires are stranded together to create a rigid, high-strength cable designed specifically for tensioning and support applications.

Will my wire rope arrive as one continuous length?
Yes. The quantity you order will be supplied as one continuous, uncut length of wire rope. For example, if you order a quantity of 1,000, you will receive a single 1,000-foot length.
Can I order multiple separate lengths?
Yes. To receive multiple lengths, add each length to your cart as a separate line item. For example, if you need two 1,500-foot lengths, enter a quantity of 1,500 and add it to your cart twice. Each line item will be cut and supplied as a separate length.
Can I order lengths shorter than the minimum order quantity if the combined total exceeds the minimum?
Yes. If your combined order will exceed the minimum quantity requirement but you need shorter individual lengths, please call our team to place your order. One of our product experts will be happy to assist.
