This USA-made 3/8" bright wire rope is manufactured from Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS) and features a 6x36 construction with an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC). Designed for superior flexibility and fatigue resistance, it is ideal for lifting, winching, suspension systems, and other dynamic rigging applications where repeated bending is common.
Colored strands may appear in some domestic wire ropes for manufacturer ID or visibility purposes; these color variations do not affect assembly break strength.

The 6x37 class is engineered for applications that require frequent bending and movement. Compared to a 6x19 wire rope, the 6x36 construction offers greater flexibility and improved fatigue resistance, helping extend service life in high-cycle environments. The bright steel finish is treated with a petroleum-based lubricant that reduces internal friction and provides basic moisture protection. Manufactured to meet RR-W-410 and ASTM A1023 standards, this wire rope delivers dependable performance for demanding industrial applications.
6x37 Wire Rope Configuration
Our wire rope is made using EIPS-grade cable. EIPS (Extra Improved Plow Steel) refers to the strength of the wire rope. Its tensile strength is approximately 10% greater than IPS-grade wire rope, resulting in improved break strength and overall performance.
The class of this wire rope is 6x37. These numbers nominally refer to the rope construction, indicating six outer strands and approximately 27-49 wires within each strand. The actual construction supplied is 6x36, providing exceptional flexibility and fatigue resistance while maintaining excellent load-carrying capability.

Will my wire rope arrive as one continuous length?
Yes. The quantity you order will be supplied as one continuous, uncut length of wire rope. For example, if you order a quantity of 1,000, you will receive a single 1,000-foot length.
Can I order multiple separate lengths?
Yes. To receive multiple lengths, add each length to your cart as a separate line item. For example, if you need two 1,500-foot lengths, enter a quantity of 1,500 and add it to your cart twice. Each line item will be cut and supplied as a separate length.
Can I order lengths shorter than the minimum order quantity if the combined total exceeds the minimum?
Yes. If your combined order will exceed the minimum quantity requirement but you need shorter individual lengths, please call our team to place your order. One of our product experts will be happy to assist.
