Specifications
This galvanized steel big grip dead end is built for terminating Extra High Strength (EHS) guy wire on transmission towers, antennas, communications structures, and other guyed installations. Manufactured under the Preformed Line Products brand, it's engineered to render the same strength as the EHS guy wire it's attached to when installed correctly.
Key Features
- Galvanized steel construction stands up to outdoor exposure on guyed structures.
- Left-hand lay construction; for proper strength, the dead end's lay must match the lay of the strand it's attached to.
- Rated to render the same strength as the corresponding EHS guy wire when properly matched and installed.
- Manufactured under the Preformed Line Products brand, a recognized name in guy wire hardware.
Applications
- Terminating EHS guy wire on transmission, antenna, and communications towers.
- Other guyed structures that call for a documented, name-brand dead-end grip.
- Crews standardizing on Preformed Line Products hardware for guy wire work.
