This Caldwell Dura-Lite composite spreader bar spans the load and distributes weight across multiple connection points below it, which keeps the lift level and reduces sling angle stress compared to rigging straight to a single hook. Built from a fiber-reinforced polymer composite rather than steel, it is lighter to rig, will not corrode in wet or marine conditions, and will not conduct electricity around spark-sensitive equipment.
