The Simpson Strong-Tie CB44W Column Base is a rugged, cast-in-place connector built to anchor 4x4 wood posts securely to concrete. Made from heavy-gauge steel, it offers strong, stable support for posts in structural framing. Whether you’re working on a residential deck, pergola, or porch, the CB44W gives you a code-compliant, long-lasting foundation.
This base features a welded 90° flange that wraps around the post for added lateral strength. It’s finished with a corrosion-resistant coating, making it a smart choice for outdoor builds exposed to the elements.
