Simpson Strong Tie EG is a glulam top-flange hanger designed to support large members typically found in glulam beam construction. The EG model contains a 7 Gauge Stirrup and a 3 Gauge top-flange with a Simpson Strong-Tie gray paint finish.

• Use all specified fasteners.
• Maintain minimum 4D end distance and edge distance from bolt to end of header and nearest loaded edge per NDS requirements.
• EG series can be skewed up to 45° with a maximum allowable load of 14,250 lb.
• For a sloped seat installation, the EG series can be sloped up to 45° with a  maximum allowable load of 9,665 lb.

NOTE: The correct fasteners installed in the correct position must be used to achieve published load values
