The Simpson Strong-Tie HUI and HUCI hangers are heavy duty 12-gauge top flange I-Joist hangers with the HUCI having the added feature of concealed flanges. The Strong-Tie HUI and HUCI top flange hangers come standard in a G90 galvanized finish for added corrosion resistance. The correct fasteners installed in the correct position must be used to achieve published load values.
NOTE: This series of hangers have transitioned to the HUTF Top-Flange Heavy U-Shaped Hanger and HUCTF Top-Flange Heavy U-Shaped Hanger with Concealed Flanges.
