Its construction allows the rope to bend repeatedly over sheaves and drums while maintaining strength and performance. While it offers slightly less abrasion resistance than a 6x19 rope, it is often preferred for applications involving continuous movement and dynamic loading.

Type 304 stainless steel provides greater corrosion resistance than galvanized wire rope while maintaining higher strength than Type 316 stainless steel. This makes it a cost-effective choice for most environments where rust protection is important but full marine-grade corrosion resistance is not required.

6x37 Wire Rope Configuration
