Wide slings rigged for type 9 and type 10 roundslings put real wear on a protector, and a tubular design gives more fabric to spread that wear across. A nylon tubular sling sleeve also attaches with Velcro®, and its tubular shape uses more of its material than a quick sleeve, though it does not carry the abrasion resistance a Cordura sleeve does.

Sleeve Inspections

Inspect the sleeve regularly and before each use. If you notice any damage, excessive wear, or an unreadable warning tag, remove the sleeve from service immediately.
