A forklift lifting beam slides onto your forks and gives you a hook point for suspended loads, so a forklift can handle jobs that would normally call for a crane or hoist. That makes it a practical option in yards, warehouses, and jobsites where overhead lifting equipment is limited or too far away.

What a Forklift Beam Does

The beam mounts to the forks and restrains in place with built-in tabs, then presents a hook or lifting point above the carriage. You can pick up equipment, crated product, or rigged loads, move them a short distance, and set them down where they belong. Because it uses the forklift you already own, there is no separate lifting rig to store or set up.

Every beam is proof loaded and ships with certification paperwork, and it is offered in multiple load capacities.

Choosing the Right Beam

• Capacity: Pick a beam rated above the heaviest load you plan to hang, and confirm your forklift's own capacity at the load center that results.
• Fork fit: Check fork width and spacing so the beam seats fully and the restraining tabs can do their job.
• Documentation: If your site tracks lifting gear, keep the proof-load paperwork with the beam and schedule regular inspections.
