Description

9/16" 1x7 Guy Wire for Towers

This 9/16" 1x7 guy wire is engineered for high-strength tensioning and structural support applications. Manufactured from Extra High Strength (EHS) galvanized steel, it delivers exceptional tensile strength with minimal stretch, making it an ideal choice for guying towers, antennas, utility poles, and other free-standing structures that require reliable stabilization.

High-Strength Guy Wire for Tower Bracing & Structural Support

The 1x7 construction is the stiffest guy strand configuration available, providing outstanding tensile performance and limited flexibility for applications where maintaining tension and structural stability is critical. Its galvanized finish offers long-term protection against corrosion, making it suitable for outdoor installations and harsh environmental conditions.

For applications requiring increased flexibility or improved resistance to compressive forces, consider a 1x19 guy wire construction.

1x7 Guy Strand Configuration

Our guy wire is manufactured using EHS-grade steel. EHS (Extra High Strength) steel provides approximately 40% greater tensile strength than standard HS (High Strength) steel, delivering increased breaking strength and dependable long-term performance in demanding support applications.

The class of this cable is 1x7. The second number refers to the number of wires that make up the single strand. In this construction, seven wires are combined into one strand, creating a stiff, high-strength cable designed for tensioning and bracing applications.

Galvanized Finish

The galvanized coating provides excellent corrosion resistance and helps protect the cable from moisture, weather exposure, and environmental contaminants. This protective finish extends service life and helps maintain performance in outdoor and utility applications.
