Specifications
A CornerMax® sling protector is built around one idea: sharp edge sling protection shouldn't force you to give up flexibility. The Dyneema® fiber body bends to match round and curved loads instead of standing off them the way a rigid sleeve does, while still holding a tested cut-resistance rating.
Key Features
- Rated for 1-ply and 2-ply synthetic slings up to 4 inches wide
- Also covers 3-ply and 4-ply synthetic slings up to 2.5 inches wide
- Full 90 degree load contact is required to reach the sleeve's rated protection
- Not intended for wire rope or chain slings
- Inside circumference of 8 inches; check your round sling's full circumference against that before buying
Applications
- Curved or rounded loads, such as coil, pipe, or rounded steel stock, that don't offer a clean corner for a standard cut resistant sling sleeve
- Basket-hitch or roundsling setups that need a cut-resistant rigging sleeve at the edge contact point
- Jobs where a CornerMax sling protector needs to hold up across many repeat lifts, not just one
