Crosby® 1-1/4" Terminator Wedge Socket - S-421T
Specifications
At the top of the size range, Crosby's 1-1/4" TERMINATOR® wedge socket brings the same secure, quick-change termination design to the heaviest rigging jobs. The wedge locks the wire rope's dead end in place, which keeps it from working loose while still supporting a fast rope changeout.
Key Features
- Secures the wire rope's dead end against the wedge to eliminate wedge loss or "punch out."
- Cast-in Crosby QUIC-CHECK® "Go"/"No-Go" feature confirms the termination is built with the correct rope diameter.
- Designed to pair with a standard Crosby Red-U-Bolt® for a complete assembly.
- Built for 1-1/4" wire rope, the largest standard diameter in this wedge socket line.
Applications
- Heavy-duty rigging setups requiring frequent or fast wire rope replacement.
- Rigging programs standardizing on Crosby hardware for consistent, documented components.
- Field crews that benefit from a built-in size-verification feature at the point of assembly.
