Crosby® 7/8" Terminator Wedge Socket - S-421T
Specifications
Crosby's 7/8" TERMINATOR® wedge socket is built for rigging setups where wire rope gets swapped out often but still has to terminate securely every time. The wedge locks the rope's tail end in place, preventing the loose-wedge failures that can happen with generic sockets.
Key Features
- TERMINATOR® wedge design resists wedge loss or "punch out" under repeated use.
- Crosby's patented QUIC-CHECK® "Go"/"No-Go" gauge, cast directly into the wedge, confirms the correct rope size is in use.
- Pairs with a standard Crosby Red-U-Bolt® to complete the termination assembly.
- Sized for 7/8" wire rope, with additional diameters available for other rope sizes.
Applications
- Rigging setups where wire rope needs to be replaced quickly or frequently.
- Crews standardizing on Crosby-branded terminations for documented, name-brand compatibility.
- Applications where confirming correct rope size at the termination point reduces field errors.
