The Simpson Strong-Tie EPB elevated post bases are designed to allow a 1" to 2-1/2" clearance above concrete. The Strong-Tie EPB66 elevated post base is finished in gray paint for added corrosion resistance.

• Use all specified fasteners.
• Allows 1" to 2-1/2" clearance above concrete.
• Post bases do not provide adequate resistance to prevent members from rotating about the base and therefore are not recommended for non top-supported installations (such as fences or unbraced carports).

NOTE: The correct fasteners installed in the correct position must be used to achieve published load values
