Simpson EPB Elevated Post Bases are designed to be cast-in-place into wet concrete, and provide the code-required 1" standoff, keeping the post off the ground to prevent premature rot and decay. Available for multiple post sizes, these elevated post bases are manufactured with either Gray Paint finish, standard galvanized (EPB44A & EPB44T), or Hot-Dip Galvanized (denoted by "HDG" in the part name), for varying levels of corrosion resistance.
