Simpson Strong-Tie HSUR joist hangers are skewed 45 degrees right and utilize angled nail slots to direct nails for proper installation. The Strong-Tie HSUR214-2 skewed joist hanger features a G90 galvanized coating and requires the use of hot-dip galvanized fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153.

NOTE: The correct fasteners installed in the correct position must be used to achieve published load values

•These hangers cannot be modified but will accommodate a 40°- to 50°-skewed joist
•Features positive-angle nailing for engineered wood sizes to prevent wood splitting and to speed installation
•Available with the A2 (acute) flange turned in to accommodate end-of-wall installation for solid sawn sizes only (HSURC or HSULC)

• These hangers will normally accommodate a 40 to 50 skew.
