Specifications
Cutting corners on edge protection catches up with a sling eventually, usually right where a round or curved load has been wearing on it lift after lift. A CornerMax® sleeve is made from Dyneema® fiber specifically so it can flex around that shape instead of bridging over it, while still holding a genuine cut-resistance rating.
Key Features
- Fits 1-ply and 2-ply synthetic slings up to 6 inches wide
- Fits 3-ply and 4-ply synthetic slings up to 4 inches wide
- Not built for wire rope or chain slings
- Inside circumference of 11 inches; the round sling's full circumference (both sides together) needs to fall within that
- Rated protection only applies with full 90 degree contact against the load edge
Applications
- Mid-size pipe, rounded machinery parts, or curved steel stock that wears down a standard cut resistant sling sleeve fast
- Adding a cut-resistant rigging sleeve to a roundsling or basket-hitch rig that sees regular use, wherever sharp edge sling protection matters most
