Twin-Path® High Performance Roundslings
Two independent K-Spec® load-bearing fiber cores, wrapped in a protective Covermax® jacket, give Twin-Path® slings higher working load limits and a longer working life than a lot of alternatives on the market. Every sling is load-tested to 200% of capacity, and the design comes in lighter and stronger than a similarly sized wire rope or chain sling, which is exactly why you'll find these slings on jobs like bridge construction and turbine installation.
Built-In Safety Redundancy
Twin-Path® slings run two separate fiber paths, each with its own connection between the load and the hook. If one path fails, the second can help prevent a catastrophic drop, giving the operator a chance to lower the load back to the ground safely. That won't hold true in every situation, since it depends on the application and the load itself, but it's still a real improvement in worksite safety that a single-path sling can't offer.
Every sling also ships with the Check-Fast® inspection system built in. A third fiber path carries a link engineered to fail above proof load but before the sling reaches maximum capacity. When it fails, it pulls a visual indicator out of view, flagging the sling before it's put back into service. If that indicator isn't visible, take the sling out of service immediately and contact us about sending it to the manufacturer for possible repair. Note: Check-Fast® supplements a standard inspection; it doesn't replace one. A qualified professional should still inspect the sling regularly.
Performance That Holds Up Over Time
Independent testing found the core yarns in Twin-Path® slings to be the longest-lasting on the market. On top of that durability, the sling comes in at roughly 10% the weight of a comparable-strength steel sling, which makes it far easier to transport and set up while cutting down on the risk of lift-related injury.
At rated capacity, elongation is limited to just 1%, which matters in low-headroom applications where precision counts. The sling also holds up against the environment: it's non-conductive, non-corrosive, UV-resistant, resistant to most chemicals, and unaffected by fresh or salt water. Tension fatigue resistance rounds out the list, so repeated use doesn't wear the sling down the way it might with other materials.
Abrasion Resistance and Load Conforming Flexibility
The Covermax® jacket wrapping the core yarns is built from a double layer of industrial-strength nylon, offering more than four times the abrasion resistance of a standard polyester jacket. An inner red inspection layer makes it easy to spot damage when it does occur. That same flexibility also lets the sling conform to the load it's lifting, unlike a rigid chain or wire rope sling, which reduces the risk of damaging fragile items during a lift.
Repairable by Design
Replacing a damaged sling is a real hit to the budget, so it helps that Twin-Path® slings aren't always a total loss. If the damage is limited to the Covermax® jacket and the core yarns underneath are untouched, repair is often an option instead of a full replacement.
Endless vs. Eye & Eye
Twin-Path® slings come in two styles, endless and eye & eye, and both let you adjust the wear point between uses to extend service life. Since both styles work in all three hitch types, choosing between them usually comes down to personal preference rather than a functional limitation.
Endless slings are built as a single continuous loop, giving you the most hitch versatility. Eye & eye slings use a removable sleeve over the sling body to form built-in eyes, which simplifies setup and handling. That same sleeve can be taken off and reinstalled elsewhere on the sling, giving you a way to shift the wear point on an eye & eye sling too.
Measure either style the same way: lay the sling flat and measure from tip to tip.

Temperature Range
Standard Twin-Path® slings are built for use between -40°F (-40°C) and 180°F (82°C). For hotter environments, our Twin-Path® Sparkeater® slings share the same overall design but handle temperatures up to 300°F (149°C). Because Sparkeater® slings use different materials to hit that higher rating, not every spec on this page carries over to that product line.
Protecting Your Sling
ASME B30.9 (2021) 9-5.10.4(d) requires that "slings in contact with edges, corners, protrusions, or abrasive surfaces shall be protected with a material of sufficient strength, thickness, and construction to prevent damage." Twin-Path® slings hold up well on their own, but sling protection is still recommended wherever the sling contacts an edge or rough surface. One more rule to keep in mind: never twist this sling past 180 degrees.
