Specifications
At the top of the CornerMax® size range, this sleeve is built for the widest synthetic slings in a rigging setup, where a narrow cut resistant sling sleeve simply won't reach across the webbing. It's still the same Dyneema® fiber construction that flexes around round and curved loads and holds a tested cut-resistance rating.
Key Features
- Sized for 1-ply and 2-ply synthetic slings up to 10 inches wide
- Sized for 3-ply and 4-ply synthetic slings up to 8 inches wide
- Inside circumference of 19-3/4 inches; the sling's full circumference (both sides together) needs to fit within that before you order
- Full 90 degree contact with the load edge is required for the rated protection to apply
- Not designed for wire rope or chain slings

- Large-diameter pipe, coil, or heavy rounded steel stock rigged with the widest synthetic slings on the job, wrapped in a cut-resistant rigging sleeve sized to match
- High-capacity basket-hitch or roundsling rigs needing sharp edge sling protection at full sling width
- Fabrication and steel yards that need a CornerMax sling protector sized for their largest slings
